Rias Baixas, Spain
Part of what gives truly great Albariño its appeal is that it is undeniably and unmistakably of the sea. This is one of those bottles. Drink it on your porch on a warm evening with some mussels or grilled fish and you will be instantly transported to the stunning coastline of Green Spain.
Pale, green-tinged yellow. Bright and focused on the nose, with notes Meyer lemon, honeysuckle, and a saline minerality, along with a hint of ginger in the background. Dry, taut and light on its feet, offering intense, mineral-laced citrus and orchard fruit.
